Abstract Submissions
Abstracts must be submitted by November 1, 2024, to be considered for inclusion in this meeting.
Abstract Guidelines
- All abstracts (including invited speakers, plenary, etc.) must be submitted electronically via the online system following the easy, step-by-step instructions.
- All abstracts must be written in English and have a maximum of 500 words.
- A lead author/presenter may submit up to two abstracts.
- Presentation types include oral and poster, student and non-student (if you are a professor but wish to have your student present the work, consider your submission a student presentation. Failure to do so will force the student to pay full price for registration).
Note: Submission of an abstract does not constitute acceptance for presentation nor registration for the conference. No financial assistance is available; the expectation is that financial resources to attend are available to the presenter.
Author Responsibilities and Duties
- Deadlines: All authors must comply with the deadlines listed on this website (paper/extended abstract submission dates, registration payment, etc.)
- Presentation: All accepted authors are expected to present in Phoenix, Arizona.
- Payment of Fees by the Deadline: Extraction 2025 does not require a fee to submit an abstract. However, we count on your professionalism to pay your registration fee by April 18, 2025, if your abstract/paper is accepted. Failure to pay by the stipulated deadline may result in the removal of your oral or poster from the program and (if applicable) your paper/extended abstract from the proceedings. Presenters of multiple presentations need only to register once.
- Paper/Extended Abstracts: All oral authors MUST submit a full (approx. 10 pages) paper or extended abstract (2-3 pages) for peer review. Papers are optional for plenary/panel sessions and invited keynotes. Papers/extended abstracts are not accepted for poster presentations. All papers/extended abstracts will be available in the proceedings published by Springer.
Proceedings
The Proceedings will be published in partnership with Springer in electronic format and available as a digital download.
Conference proceedings will be published in three distinct volumes/ISBN (Copper 2025, Ni-Co 2025, and Cross-Cutting Symposia) with the acknowledgement of the host conference, Extraction 2025.
