To receive discounted early-bird registration rates, your registration must be received, along with full payment, on or before October 7, 2025. Regular rates apply between October 8 and November 7, 2025. Beginning on November 8, onsite registration fees apply.

All events will take place at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

Registration Terms & Conditions

Prior to your registration, you must acknowledge and accept the Extraction 2025 Registration Terms & Conditions. Should you not wish to accept the Terms & Conditions you should not register.

SUBMISSION OF A REGISTRATION IS REGARDED AS AFFIRMATION OF YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS.

Author Registration Deadline

The deadline for author registration has been extended to June 15, 2025. As noted in the author notification, all authors of accepted abstracts must complete their registration and payment by this date to be included in the final conference program. Timely registration ensures your presentation is scheduled and listed in the official agenda.

Reduced Registration Categories

Contributor

Confirmed authors, invited guests, and others authorized have been provided with a code that extends a discount for their contribution. If you are eligible and need the code again, please contact your session chair or contact the organizing committee for this information. All eligibility will be verified, and the code must be provided in order to receive the discount.

Student

Student registration for Extraction 2025 must meet eligibility requirements. An individual must be attending a college/university/higher education institute on a full-time basis to qualify for student registration rates. Student registrants may be required to provide evidence that you are a full-time student. Students enrolled in 12 or more semester credit hours are considered full-time. Acceptable confirmation includes transcript, most recent report card, or official school registration documents. Student registrations without this documentation upon request will not be eligible for the reduced student rate.

Spouse/Companion Program

This reduced rate is intended for those traveling with registered conference attendees and who are not involved in the mining industry in any respect. This registration includes admission to the Sunday Exhibit Hall Reception, Monday Exhibit Hall Reception, and Tuesday Exhibit Hall Reception only. This registration does not include access to technical sessions, Exhibit Hall lunches, and does not include ticketed events – those must be purchased separately. Extraction 2025 reserves the right to cancel, without notice, a spouse/companion registration suspected to be for a professional and/or exhibitor.

Registration Policy

All delegates, exhibitors, and authors at Extraction 2025 are required to register. Non-member authors/chairs may register at the member rate using the discount code provided. The appropriate badge is required for admittance to the technical sessions and exhibit hall functions and will be checked at the entrance of all activities. One-day or Exhibit Hall-only passes are not available.

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

If circumstances require you to cancel your Extraction 2025 registration, you must do so in writing. Written notice must be sent to meetings@smenet.org or by mail to Extraction 2025 Conference Registration, c/o SME, 12999 E. Adam Aircraft Circle, Englewood, CO, USA 80112. Cancellations received on or before October 14, 2025, will receive a full refund, less a $100 processing fee. There are no refunds for no-shows and registration cancellations postmarked after October 14, 2025. NO REFUNDS for ticketed events will be issued after the October 14 deadline.

Registrants are responsible for the cancellation of their own hotel accommodations.
